These prices are effective December 01, 2012, and are subject to change without notice. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Note: Statements are not created and provided before death occurs. Nor are our prices guaranteed merely because prearrangements may have been made.
  1. Transfer of remains to the funeral home $350.
  2. Embalming $365.
    Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming is a chemical process which restores a natural appearance to the body and eliminates many health hazards. It is only done by those licensed to do so. Our facilities, equipment, and licenses are inspected on a regular basis by the State of Washington Department of Professional Licensing, the Tacoma-Pierce County Department of Public Health, and the City fire department.

  4. Bathing, Shampoo, Dressing, Casketing $300.
  5. Lock of Hair ( When Possible ) $25.
  6. Pacemaker / Implant Removal (Mandatory for cremation) $100.
  7. Sheltering of Remains ( After 24 hours ) ( Per Day )  $50.
  8. Temperature Reduction ( In Lieu of Embalming ) ( Per Day )  $50.
  9. Biohazard Waste Fee $25.
  10. Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff $795.
    This fee for our basic services will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burial, and forwarding, or receiving remains.) Our basic services fee includes, but is not limited to, services that are common to virtually all forms of disposition, or arrangements: 24 hour availability to each family, consultation/arrangement with family or representative, temporary sheltering of remains (24 hours), recording vital statistics, preparing the death certificate, preparing necessary authorizations, coordinating with physicians, medical examiners, coroners, police agencies, military, hospitals, nursing centers, airlines, cemeteries, mausoleums, crematories, other mortuaries, florists, clergy, musicians, vocalists, securing necessary permits for removal, burial, cremation, entombment, flight, disinterment, out of state transportation.

  12. Submitting newspaper obituaries (Each) $25.
  13. Recorded music for chapel service / ceremony $25.
  14. Use of facilities and staff for viewing ( Per Day )  $150.
  15. Use of cremation chamber $345.
  16. Use of facilities and staff for funeral / memorial / service / ceremony. (Chapel). $425.
  17. Use of equipment and staff for church service / ceremony $400.
  18. Use of equipment and staff for graveside service / committal ceremony $200.

    Our charges for direct cremation includes: Transfer of remains to Funeral Home, basic service of staff, use of cremation chamber up to 300 lbs., and transportation to crematory. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide with a direct cremation are fiberboard with wood bottom, and plastic liner.
    1. Oversize Cremation Service (300 + lbs) is an additional $150.
    2. Direct Cremation with minimum casket for body $1,292.
  39. Immediate Burial $1,345.
    Our charges for an immediate burial includes: Transfer of remains to Funeral Home, basic services of funeral director and staff, and transportation to local cemetery. All other charges will apply.
    1. Immediate Burial with caskets provided by purchaser $1,345.
    2. Immediate Burial with minimum casket $1,942.
  40. Receiving remains from other Funeral Home $1,345.
    Our charges for receiving remains from another Funeral Home includes: Transfer of remains to our Funeral Home, basics services of funeral director and staff, and transportation to local cemetery. All other charges will apply.
  41. Forwarding remains to other Funeral Home $1,710.
    Our charges for forwarding remains to another Funeral Home includes: Transfer of remains to our Funeral Home, embalming, basic services of funeral director and staff, and transportation to local airport, or train station. All other charges will apply.
  42. International Shipping $950.
    This fee is added to # 39 when dealing with American and Foreign Consulates, American and Foreign Embassies, United States and Foreign Customs, Embalmer Statement letters, Notorized Statements of No Contagion, etc. All other charges will apply.
